Hi, when I press 'U' to enter full screen mode, it works, but the menu bar remains visible. I want to go into "true full screen" mode, with nothing visible except the image. Is this a bug? btw, the app is incredibly responsive and well-optimized. You did an amazing job! |

@DizzyQuarkArt Thanks! Maybe I could add a setting for full screen mode to hide the UI. I think it's useful to have the UI sometimes, but a true full screen mode would also be nice. Or maybe a keyboard shortcut to toggle the UI off and on? It might also be useful in regular non-full screen mode. |

@darbyjohnston Thanks for the reply! I think the best approach would be a keyboard shortcut to toggle the UI visibility in full screen mode. It would also be really helpful if DJV could remember the window position or whether it was in full screen when last opened. Another feature I’d love to see is the ability to view "EXR" metadata directly in the player. ChaosPlayer has this feature, but I stopped using it because of a strange bug that adds a slight green tint when using "OCIO" configs. Being able to quickly glance at render metadata, like the parameters from Houdini Karma, without needing to open a full compositing app like Nuke/Fusion would be a huge time saver. Thanks again for your response, and congrats on creating such a fast, responsive app with a beautifully minimal GUI design. I love it.. definitely a 10/10 Cheers man! |

@DizzyQuarkArt I created an issue for hiding the UI, I'll try to add it for the next release: For the metadata, have you tried opening the "Information" window (menu: Tools/Information)? It shows some of the EXR info: |

Man, can you compile this with the codecs for us who are not technical people? I constantly get a "3.92 tl::io::ffmpeg::Read: ERROR: No video codec found:..[File name]" or if you don't want to do that, at least give us complete instructions on how to "..replace the FFmpeg shared library files" and name the ffmpeg package to use to replace the files and where is that folder etc? I have tried stuff for an hour now and it doesn't work. yet the old version never gives me ERROR: No video codec found, when i reinstall it. |
