Cancel request after checkin

Hi all,
I'm setting up a way to permit user to request some asset.
Actually the user make a request, the admin accept this request and automatically send the Eula and the acceptance to the user.
All this is ok.

When the user return the asset and the admin do the checkin procedure, if the user access to his user portal, the action in the row of the requested asset say "cancel" and not "request".

Is this a bug or I have miss something?
