I had this issue too. I tried copying my asset file directly to the vm and import via command line, and the error that it spit out was that I was missing the model id. Which is not located anywhere in the web interface. What it wants is the actual model ID from the database, which I had to look up using my MySQL workbench. Essentially the model ID starts at 1, based on how you added them to the system. There’s a lot of work on the documentation that needs to be done. I keep finding features that are either vague on explanation, or just can’t find an entry at all. There’s also no support for the product unless you pay. |

I'm experiencing import issues with Snipe-it v8.0.2 - build 17048.
I'm trying to import a CSV file (users), based on template provided by Snipe-it help.
sample-users.csv
After several attempts (changes to fields, rows, checking UTF formats, etc.), all of which failed, I decided to do the ultimate test: I downloaded the sample file (I attach it here) and, without making any changes, I then imported the same file. Well, even in this case that logically should give a positive result, I get an error again:
Error loading file. Check that there are no empty rows and that no column names are duplicates.
Can you provide me with support? Thanks.
Stefano
