SCIM Default permissions group

Hi Snipe IT Team.

I have just set up the Azure SCIM provisioning in my environment. But i have noticed that the users provisioned are not put into a default group so they have permissions to everything. I have checked the LDAP setup and there is a field Default Permissions Group.

Does the SCIM Feature have something similar or have I missed something in the setup completely ?

SCIM does not currently have a default permission group, only LDAP does. We've been looking into potentially making that an option, though the default behavior of leaving users out of groups where they only have permission to see their own things is generally good enough for most use cases.

Hi Snipe, Thanks for the response.
I think I was more concerned about what the " Default behaviour" would be without the ability to assign the new user to a base permissions groups but thank your for clarifying "Leaving users out of groups where they only have permission to see their own things is generally good enough for most use cases."
