Scan asset tag to add to inventory

I have made our own custom asset tags with QR codes on them that conform to my URL for snipe-it and they work very well. But one thing I would really like is the ability to slap a sticker on a device then scan it and instead of "Not found" error, it asks if I would like to add an item and assign the asset tag to the number scanned. Hope that makes sense.

Reason being is I usually use my phone to enter in all the info for an asset and I have just applied a sticker to it. I'm just started using the program a few weeks ago so I have lots of assets to enter. Also sometimes when entering an asset it's not always the next one in line.
