Clicking on a clue doesn't jump focus to grid #2031

I always do the crossword on an iPhone in Safari because I don’t much like the app version of it.
I often read the list of clues and click on ones I think I can do rather than click on the crossword itself.
Previously, this would take me to the space in the crossword where I could fill in the answer. Not anymore. This is an annoyance. In an ideal world it would also have opened the keyboard so that I could type in the answer. It never did and I would have to click on something else and then back to where the answer should go to provoke this.
