Horizontal flip not working in RN 0.77 and/or New Architecture?

Upon upgrading to RN 0.75.4 / Old Architecture to RN 0.77.0 / New Architecture, the library is no longer performing horizontal-flip operations as it used to.

No error seems to happen -- the image just isn't flipping. I've confirmed this on both iOS and Android.
