Using Pico 2W with Pico 2 firmware

I'm I able to use a Pico 2W with the Pico 2 firmware without the WiFi hardware being used?

I'm ordering some Pico's and would like the option to utilize WiFi should it become stable / mainstream in a future firmware release.

(I realize there is an experimental build of 2W firmware.)

It will mostly work except the led and some other minor things, but I would encourage you to try the v6.5.1 firmware and software, you can download all prebuilt from here: https://mega.nz/folder/SGxDHAZL#afLGgQbJAaqOYXjhJBwokQ
