While putting this project under GPLv2 might be possible, I don't want to take any chances. With GPLv3 we'll be fine.

I've canceled the workflow to save on CI minutes.

I did some research on this matter, and it seems like licensing the project is problematic.

GDB is licensed under gpl2, which is not compatible with gpl3.

We also incorporate other projects with different licenses.

I say that we should just leave this unlicensed, since i dont see much benefits from licensing it anyway.

Maybe we could use the gpl-2-or-later, but i am definitely not an expert

If one of our dependencies is licensed under GPL 3 we are in trouble. Unless that is the case, GPLv2 should work as it's compatible with itself and GPLv2 or later. It's also compatible with copy-center licenses (Most notably Apache and MIT licenses).

I can't bother to check the dependencies though.

Wait no you used GPLv3. I don't think it's compatible because afaik GDB is GPLv2 and not GPLv2 or later...
