Node caching - fails on non-serializable types

I have converted a shapefiles to MVT and tried to enable the node caching.

I'm trying to load the MVT trough:

I don't anyone's tried to use node_caching in ages. Clearly it doesn't work any more. We'll tag it as a bug.

Node caching is still working for everything and very useful... the only thing is that it is needed to use FeatureModel instead of TiledFeatureModel for the features.
Anyway... I've found the problem... I've added a DDS texture and this has created the problem... see image->isCompressed in the Assertion.
The workaround is to do not use DDS texture in the catalog.
I'm trying now to suppress all the "unsupported wrapper" messages.
