Iterate over archives files?

This may be the same question as is in #323 (depending on what the definition of a "frame" is) but I'm looking to extract a single files contents from, in my case a deb file. Right now I'm successfully extracting the contents, but I don't appear to have any ability to access a single files contents - or even ANY of the contents in a meaningful way, for that matter. What I see when I go to extract the file appears to be the filename, metadata, and the first line of the file all munged together. E.g. extracting the deb libaa1_1.4p5-50build1_amd64.deb, the first few lines are:

Code snippet (where control_file is a reader to the control.tar.zst file):

In the output, the Package: libaa1 would be the first line of the ./control file, but I can't seem to get at that files contents. It's also just doing every line of every file. Is there a way to get at just the contents of a single file in this way?

Nevermind - I was getting thrown for a loop seeing the contents in my output and forgetting it was still part of a tar archive. Once I unpacked it from there, things are as I need. \o/
