Settings popup too tall and won't scroll

I have a not very big display and I have to use display scaling, so the settings pop up covers my entire screen and I can only see a little of it and it won't scroll to reveal the rest of the settings.

(I hope there's a setting to minimize the "what's on your mind" input field, which is also very huge on my display, and most often I just want to see what's going on in the timeline.)

(Oh, and I also hope there's a per word word-wrap setting instead of a per character wrap, which seems to be the default and it looks very weird and rather difficult to read.)
