DEV - Fix map canvas not taking up 100% of screen size on small screens #2056
Description
Overview
We need to fix a problem where the map does not expand to the entire screen size for small screens, which will clip the map and hide a significant chunk of the map.
Action Items
- Investigate why the clipping is occurring and document it in a comment
- (optional) determine why header and footer sometimes disappear
- enforce map takes up 100% of viewport width and height
- note: we dont need to fix header and footer bug since we know we will receive new designs for this soon
