Other extensions are taken as blade file

Is it normal for other file types to be mistaken for blade if they have blade.php in the filename?

Ah ... the plugin searches for a substring of .blade.php in the filename using netbeans config.
It was a limitation when I started the plugin.
I think there might be a solution.

I asked chatGpt,

The problem is in the use of substring="true" in:

<name name=".blade.php" substring="true">

To make it only apply to files ending exactly in .blade.php, simply remove the substring="true" attribute:

<name name=".blade.php">
   <resolver mime="text/x-blade"/>
</name>

This causes NetBeans to look for files that end with exactly .blade.php, such as home.blade.php, and not home.blade.php.zip.

It will match the file with the exact name. So the the blade file are not recognized.

On paper the best solution would have been :

But it breaks all the php functionality from the project: - autocomplete, declaration finder.
So for the moment the current "hack" to exclude extensions is the safest one.

I could also enter in the MimeProvider from Netbeans, but this might force me to have "nbm" for each Netbeans version.

😭 chatGpt is not reliable, and it seems that NetBeans needs more configuration options, like ends_with="true"
