i guess a PPA is not needed anymore, as there's official packages, and it's in Ubuntu: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nohang
as well as it's easy to create simple sid backports for whereever you need it.

i'm aware 0.3.0-1 also needs some more tuning to support the desktop version and some other things.

Hi, I managed that PPA, I removed the previous packages since Ubuntu got the latest version anyway.
Now that 0.3.0 is released and provided in sid + Ubuntu 26.04 (resolute), I backported it to the PPA for Ubuntu 24.04 (noble) + 25.10 (questing).
I would not consider that an official PPA anyway, it's a place I usually use to backport some software I use or for other tests.

EDIT: 1) ignore the +lto prefix, it's just a typo. 2) make sure you disable the PPA after installing nohang, to avoid getting the other 2 packages in questing (they are just backports from debian sid).

Even simpler, given this is just some python scripts, most likely you can just download the sid binary package and install it on Ubuntu. It usually just works fine.
