Which hardware to choose with ESP32 and External Antena ?

Hello,

I need to install teleinfo pretty far to my AP so i would like to have and ESP32 with external antenna connector (like Wemo D1 pro but with ESP32)
I didn't found in the list of usable hardware any ESP32 with connector for external antenna. Am i wrong ?
Any solution (other than soldering and external antena) ?

Correct, you can also buy ESP32 with external antenna and add TIC module such as PITinfo module connected to your ESP32 but you'll need some wiring and soldering skill.
Best would be Denky D4, onboard antenna is quite good and you can also solder uFL connector to put external antenna.
If you order Denky D4 from my tindie store just let me a comment, I can solder the UFL connector for you, but in this case it will disconnect onboard antenna that will not work anymore.

Bonjour Charles, En dehors du forum, on peut parler français j'imagine :) J'ai déjà un module teleinfo v1.1 que j'avais acheté il y a un moment et un peu oublié je dois le dire. J'avais acheté un WeMos D1 Pro (avec le support de l'antenne externe) pour ce projet mais en relisant la doc j'ai vu que le 8266 sera finalement un peu abandonné au profit des ESP32 .. logique. Dommage que l'on perde la possibilité de l'antenne externe avec les nouveaux WeMos S3, C3 ... Je vais donc monter et tester avec le D1 et je repasserai au Denky D4 si j'ai des soucis de perf.
