Relative time overrides not working

Hi!
It seems that all panels on the dashboard are pulling from the global time range and ignoring the time override option on the individual panels.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong in my implementation but adding a different time frame to the Relative time within the query options of a specific panel does not override the $__from and $__to variables. It seems those value are ignored and all panels on the dashboard are pulling their values from the global time range for those variables within the query. I've tested both within the UI by changing the relative time field as well as experimented with adding timeFrom in the panel json which essentially populates the relative time field in query options.

I didn't know that there is a relative time configuration in the panel. But I think you can use variable $_relativeTime in the query

I tried that but it didn't work for me. From what I've read, setting the relative time should override the $__from and $__to values from the global time picker to the one for the individual panel
