It seems like the engine change in 3.0.1 would warrant more than a minor revision change.

Closing as I see the hapijs interpretation of semver only applies to api calls

For each major version of node, we only officially support the most recent version. As a reflection of what our CI actually tests for us, we update the engines field during routine maintenance. You're still welcome to use topo on older versions of node 8.

For future surfers, if you're using yarn and have devops-based (like me 😫)) challenges using yarn.lock to resolve this, you can use the yarn "resolutions" feature as a workaround.

Just add the following to package.json

"resolutions": {
  "topo": "3.0.0"
},
