Is your proposal related to a problem?
ld-decode's release 7.1.0 includes a DMG image for macOS, which unfortunately is limited to Apple Silicon machines. Here's a screenshot of the mounted image on an Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro running macOS Sequoia 15.7.3:

I've checked the issues and I'm not aware of any duplicate in this regard.
Describe the solution you'd like
While Apple's support for their Intel machines is going to end on the release date of macOS 27 this autumn, there certainly is no technical reason why these devices should be unable to execute ld-decode properly. So would it be possible to extend the build process for macOS in order to release either a universal binary for both Apple Silicon and Intel x86_64 or two separate DMGs for each platform?
Thank you very much!
