Contributor Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in our community and our project a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our community include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on what is best for the community
  • Showing empathy toward other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, or personal attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others’ private information, such as a physical or email address, without their explicit permission
  • Other harmful conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including but not limited to:

  • GitHub issues and pull requests
  • Community forums
  • Chat channels
  • Mailing lists
  • In-person or virtual events

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at:

All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

Consequences

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the project maintainers may take action deemed appropriate, including but not limited to:

  • Warning the individual
  • Temporary or permanent removal of repository access
  • Reporting to relevant platforms or authorities
