How Can I Separate Logs for a PID and Its Children?

How can I separate the logs of a process (PID) and its children? I want to gather the info of each process from the .tag file. Does this file carry any special marks, keywords, or signs that guide the way to extract those pieces of information?

Children of the process are followed if you enable the FOLLOW_CHILDPROCESSES flag in the INI file:

In such case, the PID is a part of the .tag file name:

[module_name].[pid].tag

The trace process is taking too long. When I trace only the main process without including its child processes, it completes in just a few minutes. However, when I trace the main process along with its children, the operation takes significantly longer—around 5 minutes even for a simple file. Could you please help resolve this issue?

Also, kindly provide feedback or an update regarding issue #80.

@maximumpython313-Blue - the speed of tracing is not really in my control, because it all depends on PIN platform itself. However, I didn't observe a significant slowdown in case if following children is enabled. Maybe there is some synchronization between the processes, i.e. they exchange some information via pipe, and the slowdown introduced in each accumulates significantly? Can you give me more information about the case where you observed it, so that I can reproduce the issue and take a closer look?
