Some torrents start fine, others can't find peers

I had this working perfectly for a while, even after upgrading to DSM 7 on my Synology NAS. The last time I added some torrents was about a month ago. I went to add some magnets today, and found that they were stuck at Downloading from 0 of 0 peers/ Magnetizing transfer- receiving metadata. There should be peers available for these. I tried a different tracker and found that torrents from TPB worked fine, but rarbg and 1337x would stay stuck in the magnetizing transfer state.

ps I'm sort of a dummy and I've managed to get this working from Frankensteining many different guides together. Don't rule out some dumb mistake on my part. I don't know what to make of the logs. Any suggestions?

If you look at the logs it tells you the problem.. it cannot bind to the port forwarding port for the vpn server.
Have you tried restarting the container ?

Yes, I've tried restarting container and NAS several times. I don't recall having to setup any port forwarding previously. Any suggestions on how to go about fixing this? I'm using PIA.

1)try different servers
2) delete container and try from scratch and use default server (ie, don't set OPENVPN_CONFIG)
3) check with PIA if they have changed stuff

Thanks. I had the same idea but just now had a chance to test it out. I changed openvpn_config to ca_toronto and that seemed to work. I still want to figure out why but atleast things are seeding as expected now. thanks!

well, in that case it is an issue with the server chosen.. PIA support might be able to help you
