Current Behavior

The container boots and sets up correctly, the UI is working and also successfully downloading from seeders. After some time (~5-50 minutes) the container terminates, always with the same error (see below).

Expected Behavior

The container boots, starts downloading and doesn't restart constantly.

How have you tried to solve the problem?

1. Tried the :dev tag release
2. Verified the container can resolve DNS
3. Checked ovpn configuration
4. Checked settings.json
5. Tried setting OPENVPN_OPTS=--inactive 3600 --ping 10 --ping-exit 60 as described in the docs

@haugene don’t think there is much we can do here. This most certainly is provider related and/or openvpn..
@fabge you can try adjusting the openvpn_opts and change the values or ask nordvpn support.
also perhaps test another provider to verify your local setup.
Have you tested creating another container using 3.7.1 for same behavior?

Hello,
I had same issue with NordVPN (but country CH).
After multiple try of adjustment of openvpn_opts, I finaly managed to get a stable connexion with nordvpn using those :

            - CONFIG_MOD_PING=0
            - OPENVPN_OPTS=--ping 10 --pull-filter ignore ping

I've been fighting to get this to work for weeks now, but this actually fixed the issue!
Is there any drawback to removing the default setting? Still having the 10 sec ping sounds like it should still recover if the connection goes down.
