Add-on question: If indeed this project is based on the building blocks described on htpcguides.com, I was also wondering if the security part of things have been set up 1:1 ? The thing is, I am a little bit cautious/paranoid when it comes to torrenting, so I would like to make sure that the security measures taken with docker-transmission-openvpn are at least on par with what I felt was a fairly robust security implementation, as achieved by following the htpcguides tutorials. |

Hi there,
I am a newcomer to this project, previously having set up a nearly identical solution, by hand (so, no docker involved).
The near identical nature of what I set up myself, as compared to this docker offering, makes me curious to find out if this project is actually based on the hand-built solution, as documented on https://www.htpcguides.com/ ?
These are the articles covering what needs to be done to achieve the same set up as one will get by using the docker approach:
https://www.htpcguides.com/force-torrent-traffic-vpn-split-tunnel-debian-8-ubuntu-16-04/
https://www.htpcguides.com/configure-transmission-for-vpn-split-tunneling-ubuntu-16-04-debian-8/
There also used to be a guide for auto port forwarding, but that seems gone at this point.
