Error: EXDEV, rename

I've had this working on my local setup but on my live server I get the error

Error: EXDEV, rename '/tmp/2967-18bmhbq.jpg' and a response of 500 (Internal Server Error)

Any suggestions as to what is causing this.

It's ok I worked it out, changing the tmp dir fixed it.

process.env.TMPDIR = path.join(__dirname, './tmp')
