Theme problem after su -l USER

Summary

Helix window looks really bad when I login as different user and start it.

Reproduction Steps

I tried this:

1. Open Gnome Terminal or Terminator
2. hx # This window looks great
3. sudo -l
4. hx # This window looks ugly

I expected this to happen:
Helix editor with default theme shown

Instead, this happened:
I see black and white colors.
