How would i run a command before the debugger starts?

I've added this to my local languages.toml file:

[[language.debugger.templates]]
name = "launch app"
request = "launch"
args = { type = "coreclr", console = "internalConsole", internalConsoleOptions = "openOnSessionStart", program = "swengine.desktop/bin/Debug/net8.0/swengine.desktop.dll" }

But i'd like to automatically run a dotnet build first before every debug session. Is this possible? Many thanks.
