You can style the primary cursor (and primary selection too) by setting a theme's "ui.cursor.primary" key (and "ui.selection.primary") - https://docs.helix-editor.com/master/themes.html#interface

I was thinking of a command or something to be bound to a keybinding. I changed the description.

It's possible, however, to reload different theme configs with multiple keybindings to change between themes. Maybe that would do for now, even though it's a bit tedious.
