How to select the function body inside curly braces without the line containing the curly braces?

For example this code:

void main(void) {
    gl_Position = p_matrix * mv_matrix * vec4(position, 1.0);
    varying_color = vec4(position, 1.0) * 0.5 + vec4(0.5, 0.5, 0.5, 0.5);
}

I'd like to change the indentation of the function body. However, mim or mif both select extra lines containg the curly braces

You can select the inside of the function with braces using mif and then reduce it to the fully selected lines with the shrink_to_line_bounds command (should be Altx).
