Python formatting doesn't work

I have just installed helix. Here is my languages.toml:

However, it doesn't look like it's being loaded as hx --health python gives the following:

Where is the languages.toml file located? As you say it doesn't look like it's being read since the configured formatter is set to None in the health output.

Both config.toml and languages.toml are in ~/.config/helix on Mac.

@kamransoomro84 here's something to consider:

Run hx --help on your system. Look for the lines that describe what --log does, specifically the line immediately following Specifies a file to use for logging. Or alternatively, run hx --help | grep default.

The line of interest should include (default file: and provide a path to your helix's log file, eg, /home/someuser/.cache/helix/helix.log. Take a look through that to see if there are any log messages of concern.

If need be, rename the existing log to something else, if it appears to be pretty big. Then run hx --health python as well as try opening a Python file, then quit out of Helix, then check if the (fresh and hopefully small) log file reveals anything noteworthy.
