have you guys ever thought about switching to ratatui?

We are generally very dependency averse so we would not take a new dependency unless we had a good reason to do so. I'm not very familiar with ratatui's codebase or their changes to tui-rs but the core parts we use still look basically the same. The code we use in helix-tui doesn't need updates or fixes often so I doubt we would decide to switch in the future.
