select line cursor always at the end of line

sometimes lines in file could be "very" long,especially in vertical monitor. when i select lines using x,and if current line is out of left side of screen too much,i dont see the next line content, which i dont konw if that line is "the line " i want select.so there is a way to make cursor at beging of line(when using x)?
