Looking for a multibuffer branch

Hey,
i just wanted to ask the community if some one (besides #4381) is experimenting with a multibuffer feature. If someone has a WIP branch somewhere, i would be interrested in it. I breefly looked into doing it myself, but i still need some more time to understand the internals of Helix better (but i am getting there)
