Ghostty not launching on macOS 15.5 and 15.6 Beta after Update and Relaunch

Ghostty will launch but won't open a window after updating to the latest version of Ghostty.

This was my process:

• install ghostty via Homebrew
• open Ghostty
• go to menu bar > check for updates
• install latest version
• borked

Happy to provide more information. For now, this is all I see:

The only way I was able to resolve my issue was by uninstalling ghostty and reinstalling the distributed Homebrew version without updating
