What do you think about adding a command to view the project structure tree?
In large projects where you still don't remember some files and folders, it's useful to quickly glance at the project structure.

Are we misunderstanding each other, or was my choice of words too cautious as a non-native speaker?

As a temporary workaround, my suggestion is already working. All you need is the “tree” shell command. I’m not sure about Windows, but Linux distributions should already have it, or you can easily install it. On the Mac, you can get “tree” via Homebrew, for example.

If you, like me, open Helix in the root directory of the project, you’ll have the entire project tree graphically displayed in a new scratch buffer using my two commands.
