I want to open a new kitty window in the current work directory

Hi, I am looking for ways to open a terminal without multiplexers, or something that makes it look like I’m still inside Helix. I thought about creating a horizontal window with the Kitty terminal, but I can’t get it to work properly.

This is the command I came up with; it kind of works.

C-t = [':sh sh -c "sleep 0.1; nohup kitty @ launch --type=window --cwd \"$(pwd)\" >/dev/null 2>&1 &"']

This is how it works: sometimes it runs exactly the way I want, but other times it makes Helix slow and writes something into the buffer.
