JSON formatting: by color settings, instead of LSP?

I noticed some posts about the LSP limitations and needing an external formatter. I'm on debian 13, without the binary 'prettier'.

Nano editor has a config file like this:

Can I add something like this in my theme for json files?
What are the parameters to achieve the same configuration, to color, only json files?

I ended up building it from source and enabled rainbow-tables.
