Disable language server for a specific buffer

No idea if this is more an issue/feature request than a discussion?
Language servers can't read some files, even if they're valid code, such as editing a haskell file with libraries outside of a stack project. Doing this fills the project with errors.
Is there any way to turn off the language server for one file without changing config?
