Could we ever have a good GUI with image previews for taking notes?

I always like to use vim but a huge problem is note taking where I really fell in love with org mode but I don't like Emacs or Evil mode. Taking powerful notes with organization like org mode and ability to drag and drop images & tables like evernote combined with helix ❤️ This could be taken further with plugins to get graph views like obsidian or similar note-taking features can make modal editing complete when it comes to taking notes.
