How can I move the status line to the top of window or disable auto completion in command line?

I'm trying to rename a file, but I can't see the current path because it's blocked by the command line autocompletion. I went through the documentation and couldn't find a command line specific autocompletion option or a way to move the status line's location.

I also don't think there is a current directory syntax like vim's % yet.
