Using Helix with old NodeJS projects

Is there a way of configuring Helix to enable lsp usage in projects which node version is less than 14.x?

Im currently working on a project with NodeJS 12.x, and because of that my tsserver does not work properly.

I was thinking in a way of setting a default node version for Helix to use, and any help about how to achieve that would be greatly appreciated :)
