Incomplete functionality of texlab

Hi, when I go to texlab's github page they have a gif of it's workflow where after starting to write \begin{} they can autocomplete the whole snippet

\begin{}

\end{}

with multiple cursors for filling in the brackets.

When I use texlab in helix this option never pops up. Do I need to specifically enable something? I should have snippets enabled by default and my texlab config is:
