Clarification on default keymap modes?

It seems that most (all?) keymaps classified as normal mode: https://docs.helix-editor.com/keymap.html actually works in select mode too. Can anyone clarify if this applies to all normal mode keybinds listed in the docs?

I'm asking because I wanted to make a minor tweak to a good chunk of the keybinds, but I also want to be faithful to the defaults.

Select mode echoes Normal mode, but changes any movements to extend selections rather than replace them. Goto motions are also changed to extend, so that vgl for example extends the selection to the end of the line.

Never mind, should've read the docs better 😅.
