Ctrl-key and Alt-key should not print key in insert mode

Pressing Ctrl-key/Alt-key in insert mode for not defined mappings prints the key. I think it would be much better if the behavior was "no_op" instead, as control keys are intended for some extra functionality. The current behavior is slightly confusing, especially if one tries to remember the correct keymap to do something.
