How to grab the client's current auth/token (Axios)?

Currently I'm doing this:

But I'm wondering if there is an easier way built in to grab the token string.

Hi @swelborn, what's the use case? This should be the same value you're passing to your auth() function, so why not reuse that?

That will work. It could be useful to have a helper.

I was thinking that it could be something like getToken() or getAuth(). However I can see why you wouldn't want to include/manage that functionality ontop of axios. I did end up using the token value from elsewhere. You can close this issue !

Yes - the idea is that token is set by the app that imports the interactem component. The interactem component uses this token. When I asked this question I was thinking that I could use this "getToken" method when supplying the external token in useNats. Nats has an "auth callout" feature that uses an external token when authentication/authorizing a websocket connection.
