Hi, I'm the maintainer of com.esaulpaugh.headlong which hiero-sdk-java depends on and I'm currently not able to publish new versions of headlong to maven central repository due to an incident in which I mildly insulted Sonatype's documentation in a support email.
More importantly, all headlong artifacts have been threatened with removal by Sonatype 11 days ago ("potentially purging your artifacts from the system completely"), just hours after the latest release was successfully published using the new publishing portal. As of now they're all still up but I just noticed their email today so I thought I should make people aware.
I think that headlong is in a good state right now so there is no urgent need to push updates.
I have documented the situation and posted build instructions for reproducing the artifacts from source if necessary here: esaulpaugh/headlong#77
