Extra money earned on exports negative values

My extra money earned on exports has got negative values.

I expected these to be positive?

It is a confusing name, but I couldn't think of a better one. If you are using the battery with solar panels then you will export less electricity. Previously when you would have exported spare solar generation it will go into the battery instead. Hence losing some money on exports (negative). As 1kwh imported is generally more expensive than the money you'd get for 1kwh exported it is still worthwhile. However, if you don't take into account that you will lose some money on exports you won't get a proper idea of the pay off period of the battery. If on the other hand you are not using it with solar panels and charging the battery at a cheap rate and discharging it at an expensive rate you can make money on exports. If this is what you're trying to do something must be set up wrong with your battery.

So if my import tariff = 0,20 and my export tariff = 0,15 it will negate "Extra money earned on exports" with 0,05 for 1kwh ?

No extra money earned on exports will be -0.15, but the total money saved will be +0.05
