currency convertor project api issue

Wishing you a healthy day sir, I was making the way you made the currency convertor project sir , i understood and loved the way you make each line understandable, but sir the api you gave in currency.md for project 06 is responsing invalid and i am not able to fetch data and cannot even select options in in the select tag as well , although api is working directly while browsing it.
this is what I am getting
Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
