CopyQ does not paste large items when selecting large items from history and using Synchronize on Linux

Describe the bug
When using Synchronize, large items (40+ lines) do not paste when being selected from the tray or main window. This only seems to be an issue when using Synchronize.

To Reproduce

1. Set CopyQ to synchronize &clipboard with a local folder
2. Copy large text to the clipboard, seems to be an issue primarily with 50+ lines of text
3. copy something small to the clipboard so it's the latest item in the clip history
4. open CopyQ toolbar or main window and select the large item from your clipboard history that's the second entry. Paste will fail and also the entry will turn blank until copyq is restarted.

Expected behavior
CopyQ should paste the text into the active window.

CopyQ uses a heuristic to paste, so it is not surprising that it fails in certain cases. But you seem to describe something considerably worse. So you are saying that it "clears" the entry both in the tray menu and in the main window?
In any case, please detail how you perform step #2, providing a (ideally minimal) testcase.

What you are showing is not plain text, but rich text.

In this example i just did a Control + A and then a Control + C on the home page of https://archlinux.org/.
Then i copied a small text, eg a few words from that same page so that the full page entry gets moved to position 2 in my history.

Your screencast appears to be somewhat corrupted. I cannot read it in Firefox 147.0 on Windows 11, but thanks, I managed to view it using Google Chrome and this clarifies.

However, it does not show CopyQ’s main window; is it also affected?

Is there something added to CopyQ’s log while you perform the reproduction steps?

Also, it would really help to include in this ticket a testcase, ideally a minimal one.

No, just what you copy
A testcase is a precise sequence of steps which allows to reproduce or not the problem.

You provided a precise sequence, but which relies on the URL of a webpage. Even if the URL’s content is determined, it can change, so that is not a stable and precise testcase definition. If you copy the contents which your testcase relies on here, then it becomes a real testcase definition.

A minimal testcase is a sequence which allows to reproduce with the smallest number of steps and amount of data.
