Am I correct in understanding that development of this app has been discontinued and that no changes should be expected here in the foreseeable future?

You're right, I have not done any changes in the last years. I never downloaded it from f-droid, but only uploaded it to google's play store back then. Do you want to fork the repo or add your contributions here?
